  1. depends.... ever had a bee fly up the sleeve of your coat?

    gauntlets stop that from happening

  2. If you are riding in cooler weather, especially at night the longer gauntlet type gloves will keep the wind out of your coat sleeves. In warm weather shorter ones may be more comfortable. Might be a good idea to have both.

  3. long gloves protects you more...wrist area

short gloves prob. have better venting but your wrist is left

    open ...

  4. If you take a fall in short gloves and a jacket, the jacket will 'ride up' on your arms if thats whats touching the pavement. When the jacket sleeve rides up on you, it exposes the skin on your wrists.

  5. Not really.  Go with short sport biker gloves.  The protect your palms and knuckles and let you get air flow over your hands.

  6. just a little better protection...

  7. short, warm weather dry, wind goes up your jacket sleeves, keeps you cool.

Long, cold, wet weather, keeps the yuck and cold out

  8. I wear the longer goves in the rain, so I don't get water down the sleeves. Good idea to keep the longer pair in you jacket pocket. During summer I wear fingerless short gloves.
