jost got a 90 dollar ticket for driving in the HOV.. in maryland .. but no speeding at all .. caught doing the regular speed

  1. You got the ticket because you didn't have the required number of occupants in your car. No matter which state you're in you can't use the HOV lane if you are in the car by yourself. The minimum is usually 2, 3 if it is during peak times.
