Is there any popular stores that will let me demo rackets?

i dont want to demo from an online site so dont suggest it.

i dont think sport authority lets you do it

and i dont live anywhere near a d**k's sporting good

I don't know if there is one in your area, but Golfsmith has pretty good demo racquets

More so when using a demo, a pro shop will  offer rather than a store. Also some pro shops dont even charge the sometime fee of $5 to do so either. Go to your local pro shop/facility/academy, and try one there.
