Calling the Turkish Consulate's Office for visa section is no use. Just I want to be sure of all the requirements needed. I am planning to take a vacation in Turkey on July but my passport will expire on December. And it is a requirement to have a ticket before applying for tourist visa? Is it required to have a bank account since I am an expat and have residence visa in UAE and were only allowed to have a salary account on bank... Is there anymore requirements aside from those listed on their web page in which some are not so clear to me... Need help with this... Tnx!

  1. If you are an American citizen,  ( actually, it says passport holders fromanywhere) you may get a visa upon arrival in Turkey. See site below and read under "Entry requirements."  Turkey does seem to make it very difficult for people to get information on visiting there..and for the life of me i don"t know why anyone would want to...especially since they make it impossible to get the needed information.

  2. An NOC from your UAE sponsor ,additional photos, credit card

You can contact your local travel agent to do other necessary arrangements
