yes. to my knowledge, you can open an private limited company (pte ltd co) with acra. but that doesnt give you work status.  could simply depend on what type of business youa re offering for the work permit. you may want to ask a business consultant. if you dont have friends that can give this advice, try out 88db under the business services sections. you dont want to invest in maintaining a business if the benefits dont outweigh the cost. cheers.
