I have a ton of movies I downloaded from Ares, and with Windows Media Player, I know I could burn audio files, but not movies. Is there another way I can burn video files as easily as audio files? Do I need a special type of hardware?

Thanx for your help. ^_^

  1. i got a free download by AVS video converter 6 off the internet and it has capabilities to convert files from DVD to avi, mp4, mpeg, wmv, etc. etc.   it has capabilities for phone conversions as well, both ways.

  2. First, the hardware part. get a DVD burner.

Second, the software.Well, if you're looking for a one-stop(and quite user-friendly) shop for burning files, try a Nero Burning ROM software. i don't know which version i have at home, but i could convert .avi or mpeg files to DVD or VCD format with it, without using any auxiliary video converters(which are sometimes quite confusing).

I guess you can download one via Limewire or Bit Torrent, or buy a copy somewhere.:)

  3. It depends on what format they are in...most burning software have a function to burn movies...if not try burning it as a data disk...You would need a Dvd burner to do this though...If your lacking that you can burn movies onto CD's...but they have to be saved as a VCD or video compact disk
