  1. your not "supposed to" and your also not supposed to put plastic bottles in the microwave or freezer because it releases toxins found in the plastic. It is fine though because these toxins are really only found in harder plastic like Tupperware. companies just write not to refill in the slight chance that their bottles contain the plastic toxin.

  2. bacteria....If you are talking about reusing the individual bottles of drinking water. bacteria builds up in those and can be quiet gross under a microscope. Pick yourself up a drinking bottle that you can wash after a days use to avoid this. the other issue is waste, plastic bottles are often not recycled, so they are just filling up our landfills..... So get a drinking bottle, and reuse it and save the landfills and your body!

  3. no. Thats Basically Recycling. So Your Doing  A Good Thing Not Buying More Plastic Bottles

  4. You should buy reusable bottles instead.  Those bottles were not designed for prolonged use.  They can break down over time and possibly adversely affect your health.

Reusing them once or twice probably wouldn't hurt you, but you should just buy reusable ones.  They are under 5 dollars at most stores and you can use them for years.

  5. The FDA found no harmful toxins "leaked" from water bottles after being reused.
