im traveling from ipswich to leeds on the 27th and wanted to know if there is any reported hold ups on the line between ipswich and peterborough on this date

National Rail Enquiries are not reporting any hold-ups on that line. Next train is 1755 from Ipswich, arrives Peterborough at 1936. There are major delays between Doncaster and York caused by overhead line problems, and trains are being diverted via Leeds, which I suppose may delay your train into Leeds.
