  2. Depends where you live. (559) 233-help Good Luck :)  This number can possibly give you the help you need for your local area!

  3. Yes there are programs for women who do not have enough money to get a divorce . If the divorce is going to be uncontested and there is not a fight over the custody of the kids , then there are computer software programs that will help you get a divorce cheaply , but if there are problems and things that will cause some ruckus , then you will have to find someone that will do it for you and do it cheaply .

  4. legal zoom.com or a book for your state. Many states have kits available. Costs about 30.

  5. Depends on where you live.  In California, the courts have staff called facilitators who are family law attorneys who help people prepare their own cases so they can argue them themselves.  Many states have similar programs, and all states have volunteer lawyers.  You have to do some research to find out what your county has.  And some law schools have students taking family law classes who will volunteer to help you.

The first thing your mom can do to help herself is to make a list of their assets and debts, with a copy of each recent bank statement, mortgage statement, etc.  The more she knows about the financial situation, the more she can help her attorney.  As a rule, low asset cases are easy to complete.

  6. file for a divorce and make her husband pay for it or half. I am with Noone on this one. I can barely make a living for myself and I am tired of moochers

  7. If your mother needs a divorce then get a job, earn the money and pay for it.  Life isnt about begging, its about working for what you want.

I am sick and tired of everyone wanting SOMEONE ELSE to pay for what they want.

  8. Hi. I used to be a legal specialist in the army and worked as a deputy sheriff for over a year. your mom might try legal aid. check out your county's office of public assistance. normally they have numbers to these offices. in certain states you can prepare your own divorce papers and have them notarized and signed by an attorney.

    Hope this helps.

  9. Yes but since I don't know where you live the best I can tell you is the local police or district attorney may know how

  10. Yes try legal aid. Or call your local congress man/ mayor's office,   Department of social services for help

  11. You can check with your county court, Some cases have pre paid lawyers and the fee is free. Ignore the rude people obviously there are reasons why women doesn't have the money to pay for a divorce. Such as they were made to stay home with the kids or etc...only intelligent people would know that.
