  1. I have seen many people claim such things exist but not one single person has ever given proof or evidence of any sort that they do.  Why would that be, unless it's all wishful thinking or self-delusion?

  2. They say some people are born with this ability & sometimes it happens when one is under extreme emotional stress which is sth that happened to me when I was under extreme emotional stress,

I had a visitor at home, who upon arriving put her car keys in her bag, after 1 hour when she wanted to leave her car keys were bent in the middle & we just couldn't believe it becos the keys are really hard steel & when we tried to bend them back they wouldn't even budge one bit!

I didn't know what was happeneing at the time & i didn't do it on purpose but I read about this later & realized that was exactly what had happened.

PS. no it has nothing to do with telepahy.

  3. I don't know about telekenesis, but empathy (clair sentenience) is more closely related to telepathy. Telekenesis is the ability to move things with your mind. Telepathy is hearing someone else's thoughts (this includes spirits as well as the living); empathy is the ability to feel someone else's emotions.

  4. I knew you were going to ask about telekinesis !

  5. Telekinesis:

The movement of objects by scientifically inexplicable means.

    Telepathy:

Communication through means other than the senses.

"Parapsychological research involves a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies,[2] and takes place at a small number of universities and privately funded laboratories, notably in the United States and the United Kingdom. The research has been published in mainstream journals including Psychological Bulletin, Foundations of Physics, and the British Journal of Psychology, as well as specialist publications such as the Journal of Parapsychology. 6. Have you been watching "Heros" (BB2 Weds) ??

  7. Here's a link to going on 600 people who've asked this question. If anyone knows they do.E-mail a few of them see how they made out.My guess, none of them can do it.

  8. There can be no proof for something that does not exist.

  9. No, there is no proof. Science isn't in the business of providing proof in the absolute sense, but rather evidence and probability. Anyhow, while there are those who would tell you that experiments have been done which provide evidence of telekinesis, you should realize that such experiments have been roundly ignored by scientists due to their sloppy design, even sloppier analysis, and the rather silly experimental methodology of looking for infinitesimally tiny changes in a response variable as a reliable indicator of effect. Another term for that is pathological science.

Bottom line -- there is NO credible scientific evidence for telekinesis. It has NEVER been observed. NOBODY can demonstrate it.

    So why believe in it?

  10. Yes, there is. Well, actually you will find a person with that virtues. Both, telekinesis and telepathy are related, because are part of the parapsychology and at the same time, are part of the paranormal phenomena.

If you want to do telekinesis or telepathy you could, but it will be a little difficult because your sense organs that are unknown are not developed at all. So you have to develop them taking hata yoga classes or kundalini yoga. At Duke University there are some exercises where you can develop telekinesis or telepathy.

    Greetings...

  11. Yes at statistically significant (but not impressive real world) levels. The Rhine Research Institute (link below) conducted experiments on this as early as the 1930's with positive results.

Helmut Schmidt (direct link to his cited works below) demonstrated positive results in his experiments. Some members of the Parapsychological Association (link below) continue this line of work.

Princeton University through a program called PEAR (link below) has studied this for 27 years with positive results.

FYI: Telekinesis is an older term and rarely used today.

Psychokinesis (PK) is the term used in the current scientific research literature.

Science deals with evidence gathered from hypothesis testing and replication not proof.

  12. Uri Gellar was made an absolute fool of on national TV by James Randi for trying to move pages of a phone book.

Of course he failed. It's on YouTube!

  13. This is not proof or anything, but I have met people who can move objects with the point of their fingers and are so down to earth and normal, they absolutely refuse to do  it as it scares the devil out of them.
