Is there any reason why rude people on Yahoo Answers leave rude answers??

But generally, yes, coz they are ignorant and retarded.

They are not barely rude. There's something wrong with their brain and I do think that they really need brain surgery  to cure them. ; - )

Because they aren't smart enough to leave an educated, well-thought answer. They actually think they're cool for the rude c**p they say, not realizing that if you're a dork who is a bad-a$$ online...you're still a dork.

To blow off steam. Or, if they are tired of stupid questions. Some of the things I don't really blame them for... there are some rude questions too. Also, some of the things people ask would take about ten seconds of internet research to figure out, yet they are asking.

Because they are not doing it for the right reasons and that is to perhaps actually help people who want serious and sensible answers.

Sometimes the questions are so stupid that you have to be rude so that the other person knows they're being idiots.

And sometimes its therapy for a really bad day. For the most part though, its the first one.

Most of the time I think it's because the questions are stupid, i.e.  "How do you like my favourite baby name?"  

People are not looking for answers, but rather want validation of their own opinions.  

Rude answers are probably attributable to human nature and the fallacies and eccentricities of the ego.

I think some people just like to act all high and mighty to make themselves seem important.

They probably don't have friends b/c of the way they are and like to annoy people on here. Ugh, they should get a life and not try to make ppl as miserable as they are. And if they think someone question is stupid, they should just flag or ignore it.
