Is there any reason you shouldn't get your realtor's license? I am in the state of MD. thanks!?

Other then the market is bad right now... prob not a lot of money or work.  My agent also works at Walmart to make ends meet.

I can think of a few reasons why a person might not want one. These aren’t specific to you, just reasons why a random person might shouldn’t.

-You’re not prepared for all of the fees you’ll have to pay to practice

-You don’t realize what a difficult, demanding job this really is

-You don’t have another source of income to support yourself for the next year plus, while you make no money

-You don’t want to work 60+ hours a week

-You aren’t found of talking to strangers

-You’re not a negotiator, problem solver, fast thinker

-You can’t handle being yelled at, called harsh names and compared to a used car salesperson on a daily basis

- You can’t manage your time well

-You're getting license because you think it's easy money

.    It is the most fun career in the world.  But competitive.  I am the only one out of the 100 in my licensing class who is still working.
