  3. All Natural Homemade Insect Repellent

Place the following ingredients into a large glass container.

Plastic can be used, but the odours of the lemon and Rosemary will be permanently infused into the plastic.

One fat juicy lemon with a heavy rind sliced paper thin.

One Tablespoon of crushed Rosemary sprinkled over the lemon slices.

Pour 32 ounces of near-boiling water over the lemon and Rosemary.

Cover with a clean cloth and let the liquid "steep" for at least 15 hours.

After the "steeping" time, pour the liquid through cheesecloth into a clean quart size canning jar, cover and store in the refrigerator.

Transfer 4 - 6 ounces at a time into a spray bottle with a fine mist applicator.

Spray liberally over skin and coats.

    Avoid contact with the eyes.

Repeat the application as frequently as required.

    ANOTHER RECIPE:

To control mosquitoes in your yard, add 8 oz. of baby shampoo and 1 12 oz. can of beer to a 20 oz. hose-end sprayer. Spray the lawn, shrubs, areas near the house where people gather or children play. This will last several days if it doesn't rain.

Step1Place 1/2 organic apple vinegar into a large mixing bowl.

Step2Mix into the organic apple vinegar 1/2 cup of vodka.

Step3Place 2 tablespoons of citronella oil into the above stated mixture.

    Step4Mix thoroughly.

Step5Using a funnel transfer contents of mixing bowl into a small spray bottle.

    Herbal Insect Repellent

2 1/2 teaspoons total of any combination of the following essential oils: basil, cedarwood, citronella, juniper, lemon, myrrh, palmarosa, pine, rose geranium and/or rosemary (available at health food stores)

1 cup 190-proof grain alcohol (available in liquor stores)

Place ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake vigorously. Transfer to small bottles for storage. To use, rub a small amount on any exposed skin (test first to be sure your skin will not be adversely affected by the repellent) or dab it on clothing.

Experiment a little to find which essential oils work best with your body chemistry. If you're lucky, you also will like the way they smell; otherwise, add a few drops of peppermint oil to fine-tune the fragrance.

    TRY THESE N U'LL THANK ME............Gudluck!!
