Is there any resolution better than 1080i or 1080p?

Are they making anything higher quality than 1080p or i or is that top notch and there's nothing higher.... so far?

That's the max for HD television at this time.  There isn't even anything "broadcast" in a resolution that high right now.  To get true 1080p resolution, you need a blu-ray DVD player and blu-ray disc media connected via a HDMI cable.

Not on broadcast standards. Computer resolutions go higher (much higher) but its more for screen real estate and using several programs at once, not having a super high quality picture.
