Is there any restriction on how much food you can bring in your carry-on on flights?

I am flying domestically and have a food allergy (gluten). I am unsure if the area I am going to will have foods I can eat so I want to stock up before I leave. I was planning to bring a loaf of gluten-free bread, a box of cereal, a couple of boxes of snack bars and maybe some fruit to eat during the flight. Will this cause a problem?

  1. probably

airports are very strict now esspesically in the us

there have been so many crashes from people who bring there own things they just cant trust anybody anymore

you are allowed to bring in things up to 100mls or 100grams

usally you can book meals and say what you are allergic to so they dont give you that sort of thing (in your case you should say you are allergic to gluten)

hope i helped answer your question

  2. The answer is yes you can bring those items with you thru the security checkpoint.

You should have no problems as they are not liquids.
