Is there any sign of ea releasing a rugby game for the ps3?

will they release maybe a rugby 09 this year or next, rugby 08 was kept quiet until about 3 months before its release when other games like GTA or the new metal gear solid have been watched since the idea was proposed. Rugby 08 was a disaster rugby 06 is a much better game, EA need to cop themselves on and release that rugby is now a huge game, the world cup viewings proved that, the ratings were through the roof last year, EA put so much effort into making the soccer games good, with features that will have you playing it for months on end, but within a few weeks of playing the rugby games your finished and bored, the NFL games too have fantastic features, is there even a shred of info regarding the next release?

I long for the day Mario Rugby goes on sale! Perhaps It will be Europe only, which pisses me off.

I would much rather have a rugby game than  S***y PES its poor, rather have a RL game than a RU game but I would settle for either at this stage sick of playing Rugby League 2!

if you have a backwards compatible ps3 you could always buy one of the older rugby games for ps2.

The Rugby games are usually rubbish. But knowing EA they'll most likely churn out another one.
