  1. NO SO LEAVE HER THERE.

  2. NO, sorry. It has always taken time & now thanks to 9-11 it takes more time.

  3. how do she look? if not scuffed up I'm marry her for some pesos. it's tight here in Mexico amigo.

  4. Unfortunately, there isn't. My wife and I got married in Brazil...her being from Brazil. It took us many trips to the Embassy along with plenty of paperwork being done. Where are you located?

  5. are you in the US ?

if shes ur wife.. shouldn't she already be an American Citizen ?

Both the US and Brazil allow dual citizen ship

  6. There is no such thing as a permanent green card.  My mother in law has had her green card for 30 years and still needs to renew it every 10 years.  Permanent Green card means to become an American.  Read below to understand how it works:

Getting married is the easiest way for a Brazilian to get a permanent visa.  It looks like you are already married, so your wife needs to apply for a green card.  Bring as many pictures as you can to the interview process to show that you have known your wife for a few years and that you did not get married to her just because of getting her a green card.  My lawyers also recommended joining check accounts and listing each other on your life insurance.

INS will give her a temporary 2-year green card.  The good news is that you do not need to come back after 2 year to get the 10-year green card.  All you and your wife need to do is to send documents proving you are still married and they will give her a 10-year green card.

After your wife has her green card for 3 years, she can apply to become an American Resident.
