i have a connection on my router its VOIP so i can make free european calls and america and reduce rate internationally for landline calls elsewhere.

but other than this i dont know.

I bought a magicJack and all my calls to the states and Canada are free.

I bought international minutes and this morning I called my wife in a small town in Mexico for 0.09 cents a minute.

If she had taken one with her, it wouldn't have cost either of a us a dime.

I've been also on a look out for free calls but usually or most of them have only trial free calls or sometimes you an have free calls but there is some kind of monthly fee or something. You're best bet is just to subscribe to a voip provider as they come very cheap these days. For example, the one I use is Onesuite (www.onesuite.com) and their rate for calling China, U.K. and Canada is all under 2 cent per minute. Other countries are a little bit higher.
