I used the Express Burn software for burning my DVDs. When I tried watching it on a portable DVD player it won't play. Any software where I can convert it?

  4. Movie DVDs has a special file system. So you have to use a Movie DVD making program to for this task.

Try to use AVS Video Converter from AVS Video Tools   http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/avs-video-to...

It is very simple with this tool - download, install and run the program- open a file or file you want to burn- click “To DVD” button- click “Convert Now”

After conversion is finished, it will ask you to insert a blank DVD. It supports virtually all video formats and has built-in DVD, VCD burning engine.

  5. Portable DVD player only plays "video DVDs" which is NOT just any DVD you stuff some video files on it. PC may understand those files, but a portable DVD player sure won't.

You need to use the free DVDFlick to write such a video DVD. Look for it.
