  1. Yes.  You could win a crapload of spyware or a virus.  Do not click on their links; they will either give you computer problems or ask you for a bank account number, which they will drain.

  2. No.

If you get an email that tell you you've won a lottery that you never signed up for, it's what is known as a 419 scam.  Any email or other types of messages that sound too good to be true is most likely originating from a 419 scammer.  They are very clever as they are professional scamers and it is very easy to be tricked by them.  The number of tricks and types of scams are amazing.  Don't even trust people you meet in Yahoo chat that claim they are in love with you now--especially if they ever mention Africa or the UK--that's a scam too.

Here are some exaples of the lottery scam:

  3. NO  NO  NO  NO

That email notification is designed to take you on a ride where you will give out information to them, so that they can rob you in some way.

They will ask you for one or more of your personal effects that will give them money or access to your money.

    Don't fall for it.

  4. Cheat...Cheat...Cheat...never believe them...will make you poorer by few thousands dollars :(

I am sure you have got a mail from microsoft or google or yahoo or some big company.. i can also send you a mail which will be like technow@microsoft.com :) .Never ever believe them. Just few frauds are there in the good world to put the simple and honest people into trouble...thats all...they are just virus for the humankind
