Is there any species of turtle that is completely or mostly vegetarian?

please don't make generalizations about turtles, and only answer if you know for sure. also, i am looking for a turtle that is commonly kept in captivity

  1. Almost every tortoise is a herbivore.  If you meant an aquatic turtle, then there is none sorry.  But if you want a commonly kept, small sized, herbivorous tortoise, get a Russian Tortoise.  Look up some information.  I believe they are a grassland species, so you could buy grassland tortoise pellets and feed it spinach, kale, and pok choy.  Just research it before you get it please.  Here are a list of web sites that would probably have good information:

  2. I have 3 rts and a box turtle,

    Rts only eat green,no pellet food.

    My box turtle eats greens and some meats.

    All torts and turtles eat greens,box turtles can eat some fruit,
