Is there any speech recognition software?

There is roborealm for video recognition, so is there a program that does something similar but with audio?

I would like to implement this into a robot I am making and would just tell it what to do and distortion is not a problem since I would transmit my voice through a headset to the bot.

  1. Dragon naturally speaking works well look it up faily cheap in comparison to others, its used in word documents ie microsoft word and emails but can be used to issue commands to pcs as well. lots of training time so it recognizes your voice but and good quality microphone is important

  3. all you need to do is click on start,then click on "control pannel",then click on speech...after that type in a word and you computer should say that word,abd dont worry its free...
