  1. SONY   GTX 420IP     it has an ipod plug on it to charge and display your music   bout $180

  2. Re "Buy an fm transmitter", big Tesco's stock them too. I use one with my mp3 player. They're ace!

  3. Buy an fm transmitter (about  5 pounds) from ebay,

you plug into the bottom of your ipod and it will play through

your car speakers, don't buy an itripthey are  far too expensive.

Actually I just looked the one I have is good (below)- 2.97, 0.52 postage, so even cheaper!

  4. yes quite a few.

If you are looking for a new head unit (car stereo) you are looking for one with an auxiliary input ( AUX in).

However are some alternatives. You can get a small radio transmitter to plug into you ipod and then tune your car radio to that frequency, and transmits songs playing on your ipod to your car stereo -such as the iTrip-

    eg. http://www.gr8-ideas.co.uk/proddetail.ph...

this saves you the cost of having to intall a new head unit.

  5. yes, the pioneer 6000ub or even the pioneer 4000ub, they are the best and have ipod control, the sound is amazing.
