Is there any studies done regarding to listening to music while reading or doing HW help?

Why I ask this is because, I notice that some people cannot do work without music and some cannot stand noise.

It depends on the environment where you grew up in.  If you were brought up in a noisy household, then you will prefer noise in the background. If not, then the opposite is true.

Studies do suggest, however classical music does lower your blood pressure.
