Is there any surf shops in Vietnam were I can buy a surf board?

I'm going to Vietnam for a holiday and want to buy a surf board cheaper then in Australia. I was wondering is there any surf shops in Vietnam were I can buy a surf board or surf products?

I was on China Beach in Da Nang last year, and I wish there was a surf shop in Vietnam. I have never seen such a vast stretch of beach with such excellent waves and not a single surfer in sight. That in mind, I doubt there is a surf shop in Vietnam, because I had seen ZERO surfers on the one beach in all of Vietnam that would have surfers.

If there is anyone considering opening a business in Vietnam, then take my advice: opening a surf shop in Da Nang or Hoi An will make you rich beyond your wildest imagination.

hi - I started off with the obvious, which was to do a yahoo! search for vietnam surf shop.  Unfortunately, this didn't really help much.  Here's what I recommend: if you have friend or family there, you purchase a used board online (think ebay) and have it shipped there so that it's ready for you when you arrive.  Good luck.  Peace.

You might do a google search to see if there is anywhere in VN where there is surf, which would give rise to surf boarding supplies. I haven't seen anything approaching surf at the beaches I have visited. Maybe during a typhoon, but normally things are pretty calm.
