  1. YES there are surgical options for patients with severe malocclusions, or an "overbite".  You need to consult with an orthodontist and oral surgeon to find out if your case is a surgical case, or whether orthodontic appliances are preferable.

A lot of it depends on what you mean by an "overbite".  Go see your orthodontist or dentist.  They'll be able to tell you more.

  2. yea there is, i have to have it, you have to get braces first if your teeth are crocked, then you have to get a surgery called orthonathic surgery.

What they do is break you jaw and Aline it the correct way

Ive got the braces on im just waiting for my teeth to get strait enough for the oral surgeon to determine where the jaw should be placed.

  3. no surgery. but thats good, you wouldnt want to have to go through an operation just to correct it!

i used to haeva  very terrible overbite...then i got retainers. and they helped abit, but after a while my overbite sort of came back but it wasnt as bad as it originally was. then i got braces.

braces elastics really work wonders. theyre amazing! i now have a perfect btie because of them. and after almost a year of having my braces off, i still have the perfect bite!

next time you go to the dentist, let him/her know youd like to do something about your overbite. depending on how bad it is, retainers may work jsut fine for you. which is good cause theyre cheaper!

  4. nope just braces
