I don't mean something where you are already on the cruise with your family, but something where you spend like a month on a ship or something like that.

  1. I only know http://www.semesteratsea.com, but it is for college students- and expensive. The only other options, again for college students, is if you get on a research ship.

  2. Waterplanetadventures.com is a teen summer camp which teaches sailing, scuba, rainforest and coral reef ecology.  Students are aboard for 21 day voyages, most of that time spent out on the reefs.  Very cool.

  3. Basically no.  The economics just don't work, because cruise lines can get more money from adults or families than people are willing to pay for summer camp for a teenager.

Plus teenagers can't drink or gamble, a major source of revenue for cruise lines.

Even the least expensive cruise lines get $100 per person, per day.  Since cabins are sold at double occupancy that's $200 per cabin, per day.  Way too much for summer camp.

Also, for liability reasons all cruise lines require minors (people under 18) to cruise with parents or responsible adults.

    Sorry.
