  1. I know there's a maximum height for being a pilot in the Air Force....but I don't think there's a minumum height. Unless you are really short (<150cms) I don't think you'll have trouble.

  2. Your feet should be able to reach the rudder pedals and your hands should be able to grip the control column; in both cases with the capability of operating to full extremes of deflection.

  3. Air Force - Yes

    Civil - No

In case ur short have a cockpit check report done at any training centre

  5. avril fan is correct, there is no official requirements for many forms of commercial flying, but there are indvidual requirements for many aircraft types and for different airlines. As long as you are not less than about 5ft 3 or really really massive you shouldn't have a problem commercially. I have a friend who is pretty d**n tall, but he's off in NZ training for the airlines at the moment.

Military is another story, I can't remember the requirements off hand but I will try and find out. The main reason for the height restrictions on military aircraft is that if you are really tall then if you had to eject you could lose ur legs if they hit the instrument panel on the way out. This is a real reason, even if it doesn't seem like it.
