  1. I think you mean "violates", since violets are flowers.

    But, the answer is no, since the Declaration of Independence is not the same as the Constitution.  The constitution contains the basic "law of the land", and can be "violated" by things that break or contradict that law.

    The Declaration was simply a statement declaring the independence of the United States of America from England, and as it is not a law, cannot be violated.

    I guess, however, you COULD consider England's refusal to acknowledge our independence as a violation, which resulted in a "war of independence", the Revolutionary War.
