  1. college isnt about hanging out with friends like high school. You pay to learn, might as well take the class seriously or else you will be wasting your time and money. College student normally just get in and get out, they dont stick around for chit chat. Not big chance your guys will take same college but even if you guys take same college, the time can be different, some will have class late while some early. Time management is very important. You'll make new friends in college. Often friends dont last forever...they have their life to worried about too. Thats why you always make new friends wherever you go and meet new people.

  2. Well your going to make new friends but that doesnt mean you have to forget the old.

Sometimes, if your going to different colleges or they arent going to college at all, you tend to lose touch. Its a good thing theres Facebook though, I use that to keep in touch with a lot of my friends from High School etc.

I have a few friends that are still in my hometown that didnt go to college, its not that far from where I go and sometimes they ask me to go out. I get too busy with school and work though its kind of hard to.

You can try your best to keep the friendships going  but there may be some obstacles. Dont be worried about not having any friends though, people are friendly in college, itll be fun

  3. Honestly not unless you're all at the same college; which can be pretty unlikely in you're all from an area with a wide range of schools to choose from. After graduation, everybody starts going their in their own directions; you'll find you have less time for those who aren't going in the same direction as you. Even if you're all at the same school. Different classes means different schedules, different amounts of free time and the fact that you're liable to make new friends (friends you'll have more time for and who'll have more time for you as well).

I'm in my second year of college and my two best friends and i barely talk. One is at another college working on his own degree, the other has turned into a lazy moocher who complains that no one has time for her anymore. So yeah, after graduation comes the big split. Takes more than a notion to stay best friends with your old best friends.

  4. It probably depends on if you go to the same school.  For me, I didn't go to college with most of my friends because I wanted to become an anesthesiologist and so I had a limited choice of colleges I could go to.  Now, I haven't talked to most of my close high school friends for a couple of years.  The most talking to them that I do is to have them drop a message on my myspace, which I usually don't have time to reply to.

  5. if they care about you optherwise make new friends...OK!
