  1. You can get an eastern or western hognose- myself I have a western, I think their pattern is prettier.  They only grow to about 2 ft long and they have a neat little tiped nose that is different from any other snake out there.  They are venemous, but have back fangs.  I handle mine.  Most of the time they are pretty tame!  They are fairly easy to care for.  They eat toads in the wild, but you can train yours to eat pinkies or fuzzies.  Good luck!

  2. well this snake might not look cool but it is short a garder  snake

is easy to take care of and eats crickets so u dont need a large aquarium to keep it happy. a heat lamp 10 gallon aquarium soil (they have soil ment for reptiles at petco) or molch (dont get ceader molch! the oils in can harm your snake) and place to hide and a small water dish.

  3. Get a male ball python, they do not get very big and they are very mellow if taken care of, handled a lot, and not teased. They eat mice

  4. sand boa snake.....for baby sand boas you can put them in a ten gallon tank until they get bigger.  they usually get around 2 feet and are really pretty, they are orange and brown.  they like to stay under the sand and are usually pretty easy to take care of

  5. a male sand boa is probably the only thing

  6. there really isn't many snakes that stay that short, but corn snakes and rat snakes stay pretty thin, and you only need a 20 long tank for them. corns don't need a heat lamp, only a under tank heater.  both need to be fed mice weekly or biweekly. there is also an african egg eating snake which you'd only have to feed quail eggs weekly.
