  4. Iv'e been a vegetarian for over 7 years. I personally feel that since we're not in the food chain anymore why should we still eat animals. If you're a humane hunter that treats your kill with respect than I have no problem. Personaly I don't think it's necisary with all the alternative foods out there but I understand that it's something engrained in some families and groups.

    But what they do to farm animals is barbarick and disgusting! slaughter houses. Keeping cows pregnent so they produce milk. taking the calfs away from their mothers and putting them in small barns. If they get sick they leave them on the curb or outskirts of their farmlands. Those who do make it are going to become veal.

    We have the ability to produce other food stuffs that don't cruly kill animals. Tofu, Soy beans, Greek yogurt is an amazing source of proteen. Okay yes it's dairy. But it's a great food for dairy vegitarians.

    Personally I am a lacto ovo vegitarian. I don't eat any flesh including fish.

    I don't ussually rant about this. I can't stand it when other vegitarians do that. But I think it's very important to know what is done to the farm animals.
