Is there any way I can filter spam from coming through our Yahoo group message board before members see it?

We are a support group and s*x messages are coming in. We would like to filter these out before the members see them. Right now we can only delete the offending person after a message is sent.

Make it a closed group, so owner approval is required for membership.   I get no spam at all in my group.
