I'm trying to use Everest....a lan inventory program.

And I would just like to use it when I want, so i don't necessarily want the program running in the background 24/7 on the remote computer.

I was thinking there might be someway I can run the program on the remote computer so I can get the info when I want it if the program is in a shared network drive.....maybe via command lines ?

Everest doesn't need to be installed on a remote computer.

  1. If the "Everest" program is a stand-alone executable, then you can store it on a share, log into a machine, browse to the share and execute the application.
