Is there any way I can upload a video ?

Okay so I have a really old video camera from like back when they use those little tapes. and I was wondering if I recorded a video if there was anyway I could upload it on my computer ?

Our video camera also uses little tapes also. We had to install a firewire card into our computer. Then we had to buy a dv cable. The cable is similar to a usb cable. It serves the same function as a usb cable, but it allows sound to be tranferred. Then, we loaded the video from our camera to the computer.
