Is there any way a U.S. student can attend a public school in England by staying with a family there?

I am hoping to go to England this year to pursue my football/soccer. Is there any way I can attend a public school and stay with a family there so I don't have to pay for a boarding school? If not, does anyone know of boarding schools between 20 and 30000 USD in England?

Check out the Rotary club.

It lets students go almost anywhere in the world (I'm pretty sure England's an option) and all you have to pay for is your ticket and whatever you put in your suitcase.
