  1. Take it to one of those machines they have in some rinks and it cleans it for you.

  2. Take a garden hose and soap, and wet everything down and use a sponge with soap to wash everything. Rinse and set it out in the sun to dry.

And to keep from having to do that, air it out after every use until the next use. it really helps with odor and keeps mold and other things from growing. A little prevention goes a long way...

  3. febreeze and leave it out to dry

the only gear I put in the washer :

    - headband

    - shirts

    - jerseys

    - slash guards

    - socks

    - soakers

and none of this goes in the drier. I found out years ago that a jersey that's been in the drier a few too many times will shrink.

  4. maybe dont clean it as much

    try airing it out, outside

just divide ur gear and let the air clean it

  5. when done using equipment try alcohol wipes, am not sure if it will eat nylon matriel

  6. Put all of your stuff on, and jump into the pool and swim around for a while. When you get out, be sure to rinse of really well, and take your stuff off, and rinse it out again. Then let it all air out. Some stuff you can put into the washer on spin only to get a lot more water out to make airing out easier and faster.
