Is there any way i can continue a dream into the next night?

i had the most amazing dream last night and i woke up right before the best part happened...i was wondering is there any way i can make myself continue the dream!!! if i consentrate enough will it happen??

Someone had told me once that if you ask a question before you go to sleep and focus on it, you will get the answer in your dreams... I never tried it, but maybe you can do the same for your dream... Just keep thinking of it and focus hard on it and maybe it will continue into your sleep...
