  1. No, I don't believe so.  Information on living people can lead to identity theft.  If your telephone number is not listed, you can be found on various people finder websites. Also, if you pay taxes which are a public record,, you might find that on some of those websites, but something as personal as your employment history could leave you very vulnerable.

  2. You may be able to check with the social security department.  They send me a statement every couple of years with work history include and how much has been contributed towards SS.  This is of course only going to cover employers who have paid you "officially".

  3. Your employment history?  You should know where you've worked, the dates of each job, and what your responsibilities were.  There's no reason that you would need to look up this information.  I also noticed that you have this posted under the genealogy category, which has to do with your family tree...not employment.

  4. Not unless YOU put it online.  This kind of thing is not a matter of public record and may even violate some privacy laws if anyone else put it online.

  6. You can't get your employment history online, but you can get it for free with a Social Security "audit". Basically, go to the Social Security website and fill out an earnings request. They'll tell you, year by year, where you worked and how much you earned. They'll also tell you what your projected retirement benefit and disability benefit would be based on those earnings. It takes a couple of weeks, but it's intensely accurate and valuable.

  7. if the person you are interested in has posted their resume online, maybe Monster has it.

  8. The only way your employment history is available online is if you posted it somewhere. You should know your own employment history and have no need to pay anyone for the information.
