  1. anything swelling above you waist you need to call the doc expecially after 35 wks other than drinking lots and lots of water (80oz at least a day) and keeping your feet a chest level there is not much to do....If your face is a little swollen call your ob @ 35 wks my ob was getting concerned about my swelling and said if I had ANY swelling above the waist to call Asap good luck

  2. yes

  3. Keep your feet elevated above your heart.  If you push your finger into the swelling, and the mark stays there, that is called pitting edema.  You should call your doctor, because you might be developing pregnancy induced hypertension.  I had that symptom with my first pregnancy, and had dangerously high blood pressure.  You definitely need to be checked out.

  4. Elevate the part of the body above your heart. If its your hands put them above your head. If your feet, lay down and put your feet on a bunch of pillows and elevate them!

  5. Raise your feet up so they are higher than your pelvis.  Drink plenty of water as well as strangely this helps elliminate retained water.

Get your partner to massage your ankles whilst raised and keep your hands raised too...

    Good luck.

  6. When ever you sit make sure put your legs on the foot stool not on the floor and before for you go to bed sock your feet into hot water and pour some baby oil and add some salt in the water, and don't forget to see your GP.

    Take care
