Is there any way i can telephone my friends usin my PC ??

well I know that this thing called phone dialer. and it available on windows 95 or 98. I saw that yet never know how to use that. now that XP Pro are really common thing around, is there anyway that I can call other people using my Broadband connection?? using my PC caling to other people home's telephone?

You would have to use a VOIP service like Skype, Vonage or Netzero... or Yahoo (how could I forget them).

The program your talking about used the the modem, I think.

good luck finding a way to make phone calls for free without the use of a hacked cell.

Yes there is. I believe it has something to do with the mail server. Also, there is a program of 'talk' through AIM, or AOL. If you download one of them, get your friend's screen name, and press talk, and you can talk to eachother! (Only if you have a microphone) Good luck

Yes. Cheap service would be Skype. You can also call them for free from PC to PC, but that's not what you asked. However, it's cheap to call them from your PC to their phone.

U can but i dont see y u would...U have to pay just like a regular phone bill something cents a min all tho it is cheap but pc to pc is free on alot of IM. its better if u just use a phone unless u use dial up....
