  1. everything in the previous answer is true but I'll give you a small tip that works fast and most of the times:

reach the muscle between your thumb and first finger, it is limited by two bones and the open space where you grip things, this place is called the "HOKU POINT" by the chinesse,

with the thumb and forefinger of the other hand touch the muscle mentioned thumb to the top,

now rub the muscle slowly, and getting deeper and deeper into it, in rolling and circles movements,

the center of the muscle may feel a bit stiff and like a small ball inside,

keep rubbing till the pain caused by this massage disappears and by then the head ache is also gone,

by the way this works for most pains and aches like toothaches, menstrual pains, back pains and more,

all this assuming you spoke to  doctor, pain is a sign something is wrong inside the body and the pain works as an alarm system to go get help, some parts need special attention, don't be smart, be wise

  2. Acupuncture and acupressure - two very similar therapies that help to treat the underlying causes of migraine.

    • Hypnosis can be beneficial in reducing pain and identifying the triggers of migraine.

    • Relaxation therapy like yoga, meditation helps to calm down the mind, promote muscle relaxation and increase a feeling of well-being.

    • Massage helps to decrease muscle tension and improve blood circulation.

    • Hot and cold showers reduce pain during migraine attacks.

    • Aromatherapy. As certain smells can trigger the migraine, there are some smells that help to prevent or decrease it. For example, lavender, rosemary, chamomile and peppermint oil can be used during massage, added to a hot bath or simply used for inhalation to decrease worry, pain and lethargy.

    • Herbal remedies. Feverfew, if taken regularly for a few weeks, is proven to prevent blood cloth and relief migraines. Other herbs that have been used for centuries for treating migraines are ginger, kava kava, St. John’s wort, chamomile and fennel.

    • Right diet. Avoiding foods that may trigger migraines and incorporating more fresh fruit, vegetables and grains into the daily ration decreases your chances of getting a migraine attack. It is also important not to skip meals as well as avoid overeating.
