  1. The more you use your board the more flexible it gets.  If you do a lot of manuels and butters it will break in faster.  Don't try to use extreme force to break in your board (like against a tree) because you might actually "break" the board!  Another  good way to break it in is to duck-walk (or penguin-walk) with your board.  If you don't know what that is then ask around...

Does it help? Well it can...  A more flexible board will allow you to get a more dramatic angle when you are pressing the nose or tail whether it is on a box or buttering on the trails.  Some people also feel a soft board is more forgiving of poor landings from a jump.  The down side is that that loss of flex often translates to less of pop for your ollies and nollies.  A soft board is also harder to hold on edge in the pipe.  Everything is a compromise.

  2. There is definetly a way to make your deck more buttery and flexy.  Strap in on your carpet @ home and do nose and tail presses all day every day. Bow them right out, if you do this on  a daily basis your deck will break in more and give you more flex. Also regular wear and tear will get your deck more buttery also.

  3. there isnt a way of making it more flexible or wobbly, but if you get a board which is more flexible it DOES help with tricks.... you can de-tune the metal edges of the board for rail so that they dont dig in but other than that and waxing sorry there isnt a way of making the board more flexible
