Can I build a device to use DVD/freeview digital signal and distribute it around my house using a 75 ohm cable via a UHF booster?

  1. There is ONE problem when you do use those suggested converters.....

Your Digital Video signal gets converted to a LOW DEF UHF signal....

And you can't convert back on the other end....

  2. You need a signal converter...click to see below..

    Maplins do one as well.

  3. Yeah, It's called a VHS video recorder!

Just connect your DVD, SKY Digibox, Free View etc to the VHS via SCART, and then use the UHF output from the VHS to pipe the signal around the house via normal aerial coax cable.
