Is there any way of getting into the administrators/main account on a computor...without knowing their passwor

  1. No there isn't im afraid.


  2. If your on xp press Ctrl + Alt + Delete twice at start up when you select your user. Then type in administrator and the password is usually nothing if you didn't set it when you installed windows.

    By nothing I mean leave it blank.

  4. I'm going to guess your using Windows XP, I don't know if it will work the same for Vista or not.

    Boot into Safe Mode by restarting your computer and depending on the computer maker press: F8, F5, or Del continuously. Thats will take you to Advancd Startup Option. highlight Safe Mode and hit enter. Safe mode takes a while to boot up, but when it finally does the Administrator User account will be there. Try clicking on it and it should log in without a password.

  5. For Windows there are programs that can remove the password so you don't have to enter it.  Unless everything on the disk is encrypted you could also put the harddrive into a different computer and you would be able to read everything on it.
