Is there any way of getting the word VIDEO removed off the INPUT Screen when recording vhs to dvd?

The DISPLAY button doesn't do it.

  1. There should be a display button on the remote.  If you push that button, it should scroll through various displays (including VIDEO) and finally show nothing on the screen.  Hope that works.

    Sure, look on your remote for a button that says "display" or "info". Press it and the "video" should disappear.
