  1. If you used a cd-rw then you can erase, if you use cd-r, once it's on there you can't take it off.


  2. Yes, if it is a CD-RW simply erase it.

  3. You can't "erase" a CD-R or DVD+/-R. Once burnt, that's it. They are known as WORM (write once, read many) media. Some directory system may let you "patch" the directory to show that there isn't anything, but a determined reader will be able to read the raw data off the disk and find stuff on it.

    The only way to erase it is to destroy the disk (through a shredder, scratch the media side with steel wool, you get the idea).

  6. YES. if the CD you used is a CD-RW. You can erase the contents of it.

    NO. if the CD is just a CD-R.When you burned data on a CD-R, it cannot be deleted anymore.
