  1. i think you would have to start out being foster parents and then adopting your foster child after some time. because i heard it can be 10,000-40,000 to adopt.

  2. my family recently adopted from China and it did cost a lot of money, if you don't want to pay as much with all the passport charges and such i would recommend adopting domestically. and you might want hold off until your husband finishes school. we went with adopting from HOPE for children, but that depends on which state you live in. hope i could help! good luck with adoption!

  3. Yes

  4. It doesn't sound like you're in a stable enough situation right now to have children, biological or adopted. Wait until the time is right. You don't need to have a child just because you've reached a certain age or been married a certain number of years. It's about being ready and able to parent a child, not fitting into social norms. See where you're at in a few years, and re-assess then. Good luck!

  5. a friend of mine has adopted 3 kids and they dont have a lot of money. They did it privately. You have to go through the foster process too and its long and a huge hassle but...its cheaper

  6. Can you afford it?  The adoption agencies are willing to let anyone that can support a child properly adopt.  They don't require you to be rich.  They do require you to be able to support the child.
