Is there any way that someone can find out the history of your computer even if...?

you delete all your history and everything in your recycle bin???

my brother had to reboot my computer and I was planning a surprise party for him and I'd been visiting a bunch of the party websites but I deleted all of my history and all of my recycle bin stuff... could he have still found out about where I'd been?

Using certain web browsers allows people to see different things you can set firefox to delete all information such as cookies, saved passwords and history when you close all tabs to the internet and therefore preventing your brother from obtaining any information.

1. your brother is a computer whiz

2. your brother is extremely snoopy.

3. your brother has too much time on his hands.

It is possible to retrieve data from a computer even if the drive has crashed. I can even retrieve some data from reformatted drives.

Unless your brother is an IT pro, or has access to government data recovery tools, I doubt he came across anything.      But the potential is still there.

A computer forensic technician could do it, but you are safe from your brother.  You'll want to go to Tools, Internet Option and clear Browsing History.  Also go to Advanced, find "In-Line Auto-Complete" and uncheck it.
