Is there any way to buy a replacement for a lost disc in a DVD set?

I am wondering specifically for Desperate Housewives. I own both seasons 1 and 2 of the series, and am missing disc 3 of each. I have been thinking of buying both DVD sets again, but that seems to be a waste of money when it's really only the one disc that I need. There is also the option of downloading the missing episodes on iTunes, but then I won't get the special features that come on those particular discs. Any ideas? Thanks so much.

Try contacting the distributer.  The distributor's name should be on the box.  Find their info on the web and write an email and/or letter.  They may even replace the missing disc for free if you can provide proof that you own the whole set (i.e. mail it to them).

Ask nicely, and you may be surprised!
